Each of these stories can be a marker in my route to recovery coming from a divorce. I wrote them over the five year period. The majority of are funny--at least I think they are--but I tend to locate humor even just in dark situations.
Some of the stories required an extended time in your case to write plus some just spilled out all at once. They're all fairly short. I am a fan of flash fiction. Usually, I begin with writing the long version then I cut, and cut some more, to get down towards the bones, the essence.
A couple in the stories are somewhat off topic, but they're part of my experience during this time period i think they round out your experience. Every among the stories reflect upon relationships--especially between men and women--a topic I find fascinating.
